Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our GMP Mfg Department team as a Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor will contribute to the company's overall growth and success in their assigned department by establishing and maintaining a skilled production team as well as analyzing and managing resources for cost, quality, and efficiency to best meet the department objectives.
How you will make an impact:
- Effectively and positively lead, train, and advance team members for the department's growth and opportunities
- Schedule daily production efficiently with focus on cost reductions, timeline, and labor constraints
- Ensure maintenance, turn over, and availability of inventory to meet production demands as well as equipment maintenance for PMs, calibrations, etc.
- Oversee cleanroom facility and ensure cleanroom is maintained by verification of procedures for training and certification
- Perform other functions and duties as required
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biology, etc.)
- 1+ years of leadership/management experience or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience or equivalent in GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO Class 5 or higher Cleanroom
- Ability to draft GMP documents and Quality forms as required. i.e., Deviations, NCMRs, CAPA, SCAR, CCR, SOP, Batch Records, Validations, Forms etc.
- Ability to hire and train operators to perform essential production functions by generating and maintaining the required training matrix and job descriptions
- Experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP system
- Experience with a document control system preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
The anticipated salary range for this position is $91,000 - $117,000. In addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
