The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof LAM Yulin on synthesis of potential anti-hepatitis B agents under a project on "Achieving Functional Cure of Chronic Hepatitis B".

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Design and synthesis of potential anti-hepatitis B agents
• Laboratory safety
• Sharing of duties on lab house-keeping

Qualifications

• Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in Chemistry or related fields
• Skills: Organic synthesis, compound characterization 
• Experience: Experience and interested in the design and synthesis of  therapeutic agents
