Description

The Director of Marketing is a strategic business partner responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all sales operations and overseeing all aspects of B2B e-commerce, sales, digital marketing, social media strategies, and public relations. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, goal-oriented leader who aims to build and execute innovative campaigns that build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads for our sales platform.

  • The Director of Marketing will shape and funnel the communications of the organization's brand vision, mission, and marketing strategy.
  • Provide industry information, customer market research, and geographic market statistics to sales, region leadership, and product management to support growing the business and adding production capacity.
  • Must be able to articulate strategies, business plans, market outlooks, and focus segments with well-crafted presentation material
  • Partner with leadership in Customer Experience and Sales Operations to drive performance and customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle
  • Develop a website traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks to meet
  • Generate monthly reports on our marketing campaign's performance
  • Optimize website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability
  • Manage art and copywriting professionals and work as the main approver
  • Analyze key metrics that unit our website traffic and our service quotas
  • Partner with advertising and media specialists to increase marketing results
  • Develop, evaluate, and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures
  • Manage all aspects of marketing operations, including key personnel
  • Communicate with our management about marketing goals and results
  • Ability to create and publish reports showing eCommerce growth on accounts receivable registrations and monthly orders to the company.
  • Research and cross-reference WestAir vs. competitive listings to ensure the best exposure and maximum sales potential.
  • Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics. Manage video content and generation of digital marketing flyers.
  • Oversee the production of in-house photographs, assets, and products
  • Work with the leadership team to understand business objectives and revenue goals as part of the strategy development process.
  • Oversee paid media advertising campaigns on Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Act as the owner of all website performance, focusing on optimizing search and user experience. Working closely with our outside agency and internal teams to coordinate and execute all digital marketing and social media activities.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 7+ years of proven experience in B2B e-commerce, digital marketing advertising, branding, Copywriting, web & landing page development, social media development, video production, and media purchasing.
  • 3+ years of people management and supervisory experience and in a leadership and decision-maker role.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, tenaciously following up, and meeting aggressive timelines.
  • Professional experience in online eCommerce consumer marketplace sales and paid keyword advertising
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis and HubSpot
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others both internally and externally
  • Decisive action with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, tenaciously follow up, and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with all different players and functions, inspiring innovative and new ideas with peers, and holding others accountable

While performing this job, the employee must sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, keyboard reach, stoop, and kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting is required.

This role requires a full-time on-site presence with varying hours within core business hours, Monday to Friday.
