Summary

Research assistant will help in developing a finite element model using ANSYS software to study the hemodynamics and nanoparticles endothelial cell interaction. Assistant will also help with image processing (e.g. converting STL image to a CAD model).

Responsibilities*

  • Help in developing a finite element model using ANSYS to study the hemodynamics and nanoparticles endothelial cell interaction
  • Help with image processing (e.g. converting STL image to a CAD model)

Required Qualifications*

  • Knowledge in using CAD software such as SolidWorks
  • Knowledge in fluid mechanics
  • Must be a current of University of Michigan undergraduate student in good academic standing or recently graduated from a UM undergraduate program and not currently enrolled in a graduate program

Desired Qualifications*

  • Some knowledge in using ANSYS software and image processing is preferred

Work Schedule

This position is for the Winter 2024 term and may continue in the Summer 2024 term.  Hours are flexible.
