Position: Responsible for teaching college composition, literature, and developmental English courses at North Platte Community College. MPCC is looking for someone to deliver engaging curriculum with high standards of excellence and someone that will be looking for innovative and creative ways to reach students and continue the growth of the English Department.

Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in English with a demonstrated ability to teach English composition and developmental English required. Prefer knowledge and experience in the use of current educational technologies, including online instruction and interactive television, and possession of ESL certification or experience. Preference will also be given to candidates with experience or willingness to teach dual credit or concurrent enrollment courses. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
