ADJUNCT FACULTY MEMBER
PART-TIME

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Instructor will be responsible for teaching accounting courses. Courses are taught in traditional seated, online, and hybrid formats. Other tasks will include the development of syllabi and tests; identifying and assessing student learning outcomes; continuously improving instructional quality by reviewing and utilizing innovative methodologies, techniques, and delivery methods; excellent communication skills with the student and the Program Coordinator; maintaining accurate records of student work and attendance; grading and returning student work in a timely manner; and holding weekly office hours.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Requirements: - MBA or related Master’s Degree with 18+ graduate credit hours in Accounting from a regionally-accredited institution.
Preferred Requirements: - Master's degree in accounting.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required: Teaching experience.
Preferred: Teaching experience in higher education and the ability to utilize Moodle.

SKILLS:
Major duties include teaching, advising students, preparing lesson and lectures, writing course overviews and outlines, preparing tests, class projects; maintain high academic standards, participates in on going professional development, and campus activities as required.
