Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) is one of the largest non-profit Youth and Family Support agencies working with high-risk youth and their families in the United States. Currently, YAP employs more than 2,000 dedicated workers and serves approximately 10,000 families per year. Our mission is to engage human service systems so that they rely less on institutional care and invest more in supporting families and neighborhoods. We currently work with child welfare, juvenile justice, behavioral health, disability, primary health care, and education systems to develop and offer community-based alternatives for the highest risk children, young people, young adults and families, and adults.

 

 

Job Description:

To provide intensive, time-limited, in-home counseling, support, advocacy, and service coordination. To provide administrative support for the FSP/CRP programs. This individual will implement innovative, creative and non-traditional methods of delivering and coordinating appropriate services. The overall objectives are to prevent the placement of children away from their families and to reunite the families of children returning from placement. Assist Program Director in delivering quality community-based services in Lebanon County while utilizing Youth Advocate Programs mission and core principals.

This professional will be available to provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as part of an adjusted time schedule. Clinician is required to work a minimum 40 hour work week with 30 of these hours being billable or face-to-face intervention. The number of weekly hours of face-to-face intervention assigned to each family will be determined by case complexity and individual needs. It is anticipated the families referred to the program will receive approximately 25 hours of face-to-face intervention weekly.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in mental health related field such as psychology, social work or related discipline required.
  • One to two years related experience in behavior modification treatment planning in a Children Adolescence Service System Program (CASSP).
  • One to two years experience supervising Bachelor's level employees.
  • Criminal Background Checks
  • Child Abuse Clearances
  • FBI Clearance need prior to employment.
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and car insurance.
