Assistant Professor of Accounting
The School of Business at the University of Mount Union invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Accounting beginning August 1, 2024. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate accounting courses in the areas of federal tax, advanced accounting, and financial and managerial accounting. The successful candidate must possess a Master's Degree in an Accounting related field from an ACBSP-accredited or similar accredited university and an active CPA license.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to serve as an advisor and mentor for undergraduate majors, support students in research, and participate in research and service activities within the School of Business, the College of Applied and Social Sciences (CASS), the University of Mount Union, and the community.

Our undergraduate majors in accounting, finance, human resource management, management, marketing, and public relations have internationally recognized credentials from the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Additionally, the school houses a nationally recognized, Commission on Sport Management (COSMA) accredited sport business program. Minors offered in the School of Business serve the entire University community, and include accounting, business administration, economics, entrepreneurship, leadership, and sport business.
Compensation: Competitive, based on qualifications.
