Make a Difference

The Instructional Designer collaborates with network leaders, subject matter experts, and IT analysts to develop learning that supports network strategies. Provides learning solutions to customers by advising as to best practices for learning situations. This role is responsible for designing and delivering learning using various methodologies such as video, e-learning, instructor-led courses, online meetings through Cisco Webex, and screen sharing. The Designer creates learning measurement processes and works with leadership to measure and evaluate return on investment (ROI).


 

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.


  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, education, or related field required.
  • Three (3) or more years of designing some combination of classroom training, virtual training, and e-learning required.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word and PowerPoint required.
  • Skilled in leading instructional design projects including the use of standard processes, tools and documentation required.
  • Must be able to collaborate with various team members.
  • Ability to coordinate, lead, prioritize, and/or manage multiple projects competently.
  • Knowledge of Instructional Design methodologies.
