Job Summary | The Department of Physics invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. OSU is a public R1 research university and the largest university in the state of Oregon, with an,enrollment of over 35,000 students and a sponsored-project research budget of over 480 million dollars in 2023. Key Responsibilities | The primary responsibilities of this position are to establish and sustain an independent research program through external funding; publish original research in peer-reviewed journals; teach and mentor graduate, undergraduate students, and postdocs; and provide institutional and professional service.
