Job Summary:

The Departments of Neurology and Neuroscience in the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are pleased to invite applications for tenure-track faculty. We seek outstanding candidates with neuroscience interests.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent, externally funded research program that complements existing strengths of the department and embraces our commitment to inter-disciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will also participate in teaching, and in professional, public and university service appropriate to the faculty rank to support the scholarly and clinical missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical student courses, mentoring graduate students and trainees (including residents and fellows) and/or teaching continuing education programs for physicians, other providers, and the public.
The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public, and university service appropriate to the rank.

Required
PhD in Neuroscience, Physiology, Neurobiology or a related field

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of postdoctoral research experience required.
