About Us:
Southeastern Behavioral Health is a private, non-profit agency that has emphasized the importance of emotional wellness – not only for individuals but also for entire communities. We are looking for a Director of Community Support Services to join our team.
Position Overview:
An exempt administrative position responsible for oversight of the overall planning, implementation, administration, and coordination of programing service delivery for Recovery, FEP, Health Home and Drug Court. Provide supervision to staff, assigned caseload, and complete necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a master’s degree with LPC or CSW and QMHP with a minimum of three years of clinical or administrative experience preferred. Demonstrated skill and competence in administration and knowledge and understanding of mental health and co-occurring services for adults. Must have a current driver’s license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to Southeastern’s insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, drug screening, and Dept. of Social Services Central Registry check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight to coordinators, employees, and interns.
- Act as the mental health professional.
- Authority to sign off on clinical documentation.
- Assist in on-site accreditation review and ensure ongoing certification.
- Attend all clinical supervision meetings.
- Provide on-call and crisis counseling coverage as assigned.
- Provide quality therapeutic counseling services to assigned clients in home or community settings.
- Provide individual and group therapy.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with community and referral sources.
- Maintain quality clinical records and documentation.
