Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will work under the direction of Prof. Abhishek Halder. The candidate will perform interdisciplinary research in the area of stochastic control, optimal mass transport and Schrödinger bridge problems, will pursue collaborative research publications, and will help mentor graduate students. The position also requires strong analytical and written communication skills evidenced by publication record in the area of control or machine learning.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, operations research, mathematics or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Research experience in control theory, optimal mass transport, stochastic differential equations.
Experience in machine learning.
Proposed Start Date:
February 1, 2024
Proposed End Date or Length of Term:
January 31, 2025

12 Month Work Period
