Position Highlights | The Science and Technology Center "New Frontiers of Sound" in MSE is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team. The Center is a collaborative partnership between nine Universities across the US led by the University of Arizona working in the area of extraordinary properties of topological acoustic waves. This position will be involved in the design and planning of experiments and the operation and performance of laboratory equipment and facility. Duties & Responsibilities | • Support research activities in designing & development of piezoelectric transducers, smart acoustic devices and structures • Knowledge with finite element analysis of acoustic device and structures • Maintain and upgrade computational and experimental research facilities of NewFoS STC as well as train potential users • Ability to test acoustic devices and structures to support the goals of the New Frontiers of Sound |
