Job Summary
Full-time position immediately available for a postdoctoral fellow to investigate pre-clinical mechanisms underlying plasticity after spinal cord injury. The fellow will be involved with spinal cord stimulation of the spinal cord as a treatment to improve spasticity and motor recovery after SCI.
Essential Functions
- Perform survival surgeries.
- Perform electrophysiological experiment.
- Manuscript preparation.
- Perform animal care and handling duties.
- Perform molecular analyses.
- Perform data analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Neuroscience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
- Other requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Applicant should be highly motivated with a strong academic and publishing record and be able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Writing skills will be scrutinized.

- Typically sitting at a desk/table.
- Typically standing, walking

Additional Information
This position is classified as Exempt with a grade of I, [$ 41,120.00 - $ 61,680.00]. The offered salary is dependent upon internal equity and the successful candidate’s competencies, education, and experience.
