Postdoctoral Fellow of Pediatrics - Gene and Cell Therapy Program

Position Summary - The Gene and Cell Therapy Program at Indiana University’s Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research is seeking to hire a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with extensive training in one of the following areas: molecular biology, virology, immunology, and gene therapy. Projects include adeno-associated viral (AAV) gene transfer for the treatment of hemophilia or muscular dystrophy, cell therapies, and regulatory T cell engineering, immunology of gene therapy vectors, and tolerance-inducing drug therapies. Candidates should have a track record in life science research. The postdoctoral fellow will be asked to present their findings locally and at national meetings and are expected to generate manuscripts for publication in high-quality scientific journals. Basic Qualifications - Doctorate degree required. Experience in molecular biology, virology, and/or immunology.
