Job Summary | A Post Doctoral Scholar is available to investigate the mechanisms responsible for heart disease triggered by type-2 and gestational diabetes. Applicants must have experience in assessment of heart function in experimental animals, myocyte isolation, fluorescence microscopy in live cells, Ca2+ imaging & analysis, and cardiac electrophysiology. The employee will plan, conduct, and supervise experiments related to this research. The employee not only must have technical experience in the above techniques but must have a comprehensive knowledge of the field such that they can plan, conduct and supervise experiments independently; ability to work independently and to supervise technical staff; proven record of productivity in terms of scientific publications; high level of scientific writing ability. |
