Position Summary | The Department of Physics at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a postdoctoral position in theoretical particle physics, to begin September 1, 2024 (precise start date is negotiable). The position is full-time for one year, renewable annually contingent upon satisfactory performance and funding up to a maximum of three years, with a competitive salary and benefits package. Review of applications will begin on January 1, 2024 and continue until the position is filled. The successful applicant will be joining a vibrant department, with active theoretical and experimental research. Basic Qualifications | Applicants must have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics and a demonstrated potential for excellence in research in these areas. Areas of particular interest for this position include phenomenology of physics beyond the standard model, early universe cosmology, and astrophysics. The faculty members in the high energy theory group are Raymond Co, Radovan Dermisek, Alan Kostelecky, Ralf Lehnert, and Enrico Lunghi. |
