In addition to connecting with industry partners, the postdoctoral research associate is expected to publish in high-quality, high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and participate in internationally themed scientific conferences, meetings, or trade shows to disseminate results and analysis from their research.
In addition to the above-described duties, the individual will be expected to accept committee assignments, reporting responsibilities, and other special ad hoc assignments as requested at the administrative unit, college/division, institute, and/or university level.

• Ph.D. in Food Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a closely related field.
• Expertise in protein purification, mass spectrometry, mammalian cell culture, and related molecular biology techniques.
• Knowledge of structural bioinformatics, molecular docking, simulation, and applied statistics.
• Highly motivated and capable of independent work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Experience in nutrient absorption study via in-vitro cells, organoids, or in-vivo models and peptide characterization via mass spectrometry.
• Basic knowledge in peptide biochemistry, especially peptides with hydroxyproline and iso-peptides.
