Position Description
Among the key responsibilities are the following:
- Team closely with the Director of Performance Management and the design teams.
- Research and procure rentals and purchases.
- Guide supporting staff in the crafting of properties.
- Deliver elements in adherence to schedule and budget.
- Share supervision of student properties staff and student assistants with Director of Production Management.
On-site work schedule is flexible. Interactive work with student labor force is Monday through Friday 1-5pm. Evening and weekend hours as needed to support tech rehearsals and removals.
Position Requirements
- Minimum, high school diploma
- Demonstrated prior experience in property construction.
- Demonstrated ability to source vendors and rental shops.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret designers’ work.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with all individuals at a professional
level at all times - Demonstrated ability to work independently and supervise staff and students.
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work efficiently with overlapping productions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in painting with varying mediums and materials.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic communication and data storage. Must have personal
means to email and web-based data access. - Ability to safely handle objects in excess of 25lbs.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to work from ladders and/or aerial lifts.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
