The Institute of Advanced Study (IAS), located in Princeton, New Jersey, annually awards 20 yearlong postdoctoral awards in the social sciences. IAS is an independent academic institution, and social science is 1 of the 4 schools. Members will independently research and collaboratively participate in a weekly seminar. There is an organizing theme each year, but not every Member represents the theme. This year's theme is "Law and the Social Sciences."
