The K.Leung laboratory at Clarkson University, Department of Chemistry & Biomolecular Science has immediate opening for Postdoctoral Research Associate. This position is NIH-funded and the initial term of appointment is 1-year. Start dates are negotiable. Candidate should have expertise in Cell Biology, Chemical Biology or Biochemistry with desire to work on projects associated with cell physiology and the development of subcellular imaging reporters.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related field

Experience in Cell Biology, Chemical Biology

Significant experimental experience with fluorescence imaging, cell culture, molecular cloning, western blotting, real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR), ELISA, etc. is preferred.

Experience with CRISPR /Cas9 and shRNA knockout/knockdown systems is highly desirable.
