Interested in molecular biophysics of ion channels and transporters? The Maduke laboratory at Stanford University (https://med.stanford.edu/maduke.html ) is seeking a postdoctoral scholar who is curious about the molecular mechanisms. The position involves studies on the CLC family of chloride channels and transporters, which play critical roles in human physiology and pathophysiology. Funding from 3 R01 grants supports diverse new projects, with studies including cryo-EM structure determination, electrophysiological studies of mechanism, and small-molecule inhibitor development, all tightly integrated with results from computational collaborations. The postdoc will join a diverse and friendly team, where members seek to support and collaborate with one another while carrying out independent projects.
