Researchers at The Ohio State University College of Public Health are seeking applications for a 2-year postdoctoral position (with the possibility of additional years) to work with Dr. Megan Roberts on projects related to youth tobacco use, tobacco regulatory science, and health equity.

Responsibilities of this postdoctoral position will include taking part in study design, management, data analysis, and manuscript writing. First-author publications will be encouraged and there will be opportunities for mentored professional development, including proposing new pilot studies or leading one’s own grant applications.

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in public health or a closely related field. Strong writing skills and training in statistics and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, etc.) are required. Experience with spatial statistics, ecological momentary assessment, or tobacco regulatory policy is desirable.

The ideal candidate would be willing to move to Columbus, OH, for this position.


Additional Information:

Deadline: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled and those received before December 1st, 2023 will receive priority. The earliest start date would be January 1st, 2024.
