Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Assistant Director supports new and existing Executive Education initiatives. This role is critical to growing and managing several high profile initiatives for the Office of Executive Education. The Assistant Director will support the planning of outreach campaigns, interact with potential clients and learners, and use SalesForce and other tools to manage the program pipeline and its growth.

- A minimum of 7 years of work experience, including client service, project management, budget, and proposal management experience.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to think critically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
Must have active and ongoing eligibility to work in the United States and for the University of Maryland. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
Preferences:
Preferences:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar degree.
- Demonstrated experience in a Research I university as an instructor, instructional designer, instructional coach, or graduate student.
- Experience managing major corporate client relationships and/or events, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and facilitating the delivery of world-class service.
