Job summary:
The University seeks an engaging, well-rounded, and experienced individual to manage the operations of UND-JGG’s diverse academic programs. Reporting directly to the Director of Undergraduate Studies, the Project Coordinator will be expected to support the operations of UND-JGG’s study abroad programs, and other academic and programming initiatives. This individual will be expected to build and maintain relationships both with the UND-JGG team, the student community, and both local and international partner institutions.
I. Key responsibilities
In concert and collaboration with the Director of Undergraduate Studies and relevant colleagues at UND-JGG, the Project Coordinator is responsible for the following:
● Assisting the Director of Undergraduate Studies with implementation of all academic programming
- Supporting UND-JGG team in the development and operational execution of regular extra-
curricular activities, course-related excursions, and events for academic programs
- Organizing and maintaining operational systems to manage programs and conferences for
diverse academic populations
- Functioning as liaison between UND-JGG and local service providers
- Maintaining proper management of UND-JGG program expenses, following University
guidelines
- Developing system of regular engagement with program alumni
- Providing occasional support on student health-related matters, including navigating local
health care system
- Maintaining cooperative relationships with partner institutions in Israel/Palestine
- Performing required administrative responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
● Passion for education, travel, community building
● Exceptional organizational and communication skills

● Experience working in the tourism industry or as a tour operator
● Ability to work under flexible, and sometimes long, hours
● Ability to manage stress and maintain emotional stability under a demanding work environment
● Experience working with US/international university-age students and/or Catholic higher education
● Past experience living and/or workingin Israel/Palestine required
● Fluent English required. Fluency in Hebrew and/or Arabic an asset
● BA required, MA is an asset
● Must be legally able to live and work in Israel
