The position is in the area of applied macroeconomics, including the related fields of development economics, economic growth, international economics, macro finance, and monetary economics.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants should have (i) a strong research record, with publications in journals rated 3 or higher by the Chartered Association of Business School’s Academic Journal Guide; (ii) experience producing public scholarship and media engagement at the local, state, or national level; (iii) and the ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in support of the College’s degree programs.

Special attention will be given to the applicant’s communication skills and his or her ability to contribute to the public discourse. Prior departmental service, especially with initiatives aimed at increasing the number of majors, is also valued.

The selected candidate for this position is required to submit an official transcript sent directly from the institution for the Provost’s credential file prior to the first day of employment.
