The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Monitor within the department of Campus Dining at South and North Dining Halls. The UEE division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?
The Monitor welcomes guests, verifies student eligibility for meal service while monitoring overcrowding and prevents unauthorized individuals from entering or guests from exiting with excessive food and help maintain cleanliness in the dining halls.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 6 to 12 months
Skills: Functional computer skills are necessary to learn point-of-sale and campus card software system; experience with cash handling/management processes and procedures. Must work in a professional, hospitable and empathetic manner to bring the best to the surface of all operations. Ability to communicate well with fellow employees and management orally and in writing. Must be able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications
Flexibility in daily duties. It is important to note that the responsibilities of the monitor position require that a single person do each of the duties listed. An example would be if an employee is assigned Grab ’n Go, that would be 100% of their job that day.
