The Department of Surgery is seeking a Research Professional to support the research functions (including in vivo studies) at the Institute for Cellular Transplantation (ICT). Research at the ICT focuses on cell therapies, tissue engineering, and artificial organ research and is developing an implantable medical device that will be used in a cell-based therapy for the treatment of diabetes. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be well-organized, and have experience with histology and histo techniques. The candidate must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with others within the laboratory.
