FACULTY POSITION
Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY

We seek faculty candidates for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. The successful applicant will develop a well-funded research program addressing molecular mechanisms of disease that complements existing areas of strength in our department, including structural biology, metabolism, epigenetics, gene expression, genome stability and cellular dynamics. Faculty research programs are well supported by several state-of-the-art core facilties (https://www.upstate.edu/research/facilities). The applicant will also contribute to graduate and medical teaching. The position is fully state-supported with a guaranteed salary base, fringe benefits, and start-up funds. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent, postdoctoral experience, and a strong publication record.
