Medicine | School Biomedical Sciences Microbial Infection and Immunity

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Stanley Huang, in the Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity and Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology (PIIO) at the Ohio State University. Dr. Huang’s research is currently focusing on translational immunometabolism, deciphering:

1) How metabolic regulation dictates immune cell development and response in the inflammatory microenvironment: and

2) Systematic interactions between tumor-associated macrophages and cancers.

The successful candidate will be integrated into a highly collaborative and dynamic environment of immuno-oncology researchers at the new PIIO institute with access to state-of the-art facilities and technologies. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a track record of productivity in immunology, experience in various techniques such as animal model, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, computational biology, and single cell sequencing, and the ability and interest to learn is most paramount.

Education and Experience:

  • A Ph.D. or M.D. in a relevant field is required.

  • The university requires completion of a background check and qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

  • Salary is based on the NIH scale and commensurate with experience.
