| Position Description | The Department of Physics at Harvard University seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in theoretical physics. The areas of interest include: theory of soft and living matter or physical aspects of quantum information theory. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2024. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. |
| Basic Qualifications | Doctorate or terminal degree in Physics or related discipline required by the time the appointment begins. |
| Additional Qualifications | Strong research record and a commitment to undergraduate teaching and graduate training. |
| Special Instructions | The search committee plans to begin its deliberations on November 20, 2023. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. At least one letter must come from someone who has not served as the candidate’s undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral advisor. 7.
