Job Summary: | The Department of Neuroscience in the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is pleased to invite applications for tenure-track faculty. We seek outstanding candidates in all areas of neuroscience and neuroscience-related disciplines, as the Department embarks on a multi-year plan for growth and diversification. We particularly encourage applications for assistant professor appointments, although other ranks will be considered. |

Responsibilities: | The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent, externally funded research program that complements existing strengths of the department and embraces our commitment to inter-disciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will also participate in teaching, and in professional, public and university service appropriate to the faculty rank to support the scholarly and clinical missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members. |
