Position Summary:

Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Student Assistant for the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences.  As part of a recent grant award through the Rutgers Equity Alliance for Community Health (REACH) program, a student research assistant will be used to assist with data collection, data analysis, and other tasks related to the project.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Completes the appropriate training to serve as a research assistant (CITI training, project-specific training with the Principal Investigator).
• Assists with a retrospective chart review project by extracting data from electronic charts on site in a Newark Board of Education building.
• Serves as a co-facilitator/note taker in focus group meetings on site in the Stanley Bergen Building.
• Assists with transcription checking and content analysis as directed by the Principal Investigator.
• Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree and currently enrolled in SHP SLP graduate program.
• Undergraduate experience with research.
