The School of Pharmacy is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to serve as a member of the Pharmaceutical Sciences team. We desire an individual who subscribes to and supports our commitment as stated above. The successful applicant will bring an expert level of experience to the position and understand the demands of supporting executives in a fast-paced environment. This person must be professional, enjoy working in a high-volume environment and be able to apply strong organizational skills while being flexible in their daily routine. What you need to know

Salary: $3,000 monthly

Required Education:

  • Appropriate PhD

Preferred Education:

  • PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, biological engineering, nanotechnology, immunology, or related fields.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience with drug and gene delivery, biomaterials, nanomedicine, tumor targeting, in vitro and in vivo evaluation. 

  • Hands-on lab experience and publication in the related fields.

  • Relevant research experience

  • Experience with manuscript and grant writing.

  • Experience working with diverse individuals and communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Research - Design project and experiments. Perform the proposed experiments and analyze the data. Write progress reports and prepare results for publication and dissemination. Present research findings to colleagues and at conferences. Write grants and manuscripts.

  • Administrative Duties - Actively participate as a member of a research team. Order research supplies and manage lab instruments. Mentor junior researchers.
