Job Summary
Dr. Kevin Tidgewell, Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Kentucky, is seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to join his laboratory.
 
The Tidgewell lab focuses on discovery and development of marine natural products using synthetic, medicinal, and natural products chemistry to discover and better understand the role of marine cyanobacterial natural products for understanding and treating CNS disorders.
 
 The Post Doctoral Scholar position will focus on the synthesis and characterization of natural products and analogs. The successful applicant will have skills in synthetic organic chemistry and have broad experience with different reaction types including heterocycles and peptides. We would prefer someone with good understanding of NMR and the ability to communicate and work with pharmacological collaborators, however we can also train candidates in these areas.
