Position Highlights

The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate on a project focused on aging, Alzheimer's disease risk, well-being, autobiographical thoughts, and the default network of the brain. The project involves blood draws for genetic and biomarker testing, in-lab experimental behavioral testing, naturalistic cognitive assessment with smartphone app technology, and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). The postdoctoral fellow will be closely involved in neuroimaging data collection, data pre-processing, and data analysis, including the application of resting state functional connectivity analyses and multi-dimensional brain-behavior analyses. In addition to new data collection, there is ample existing data for immediate analysis. The postdoctoral fellow will take the lead on presentations and publications from this project.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • The fMRI component of the project, including neuroimaging data collection, pre-processing, and analysis. This will involve working with multidimensional cognitive data as well.
  • Dissemination of findings through presentations and publications
  • Collaboration with other members of the team (including graduate students and undergraduate research assistants) on data collection and the overall data analytic plan
Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field upon hire.
