Marketing Statement: Hill College is a comprehensive, two-year community college with campuses in Hillsboro and Cleburne, Texas. An additional Higher Education Center is in Burleson, Texas.
Job Summary: It is the responsibility of the teaching faculty to provide the learning activities and support that will lead to the achievement of the course objectives and contribute to the educational environment of the college and the community. Primary responsibilities are to plan, develop and teach courses within the curriculum in a manner that facilitates student learning.
Adjunct faculty are hired in a part-time capacity on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon the needs of the college and business community. Hill College accepts application material year-round from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis. Adjunct (part-time) faculty hiring is based on demand.
Minimum Required Education : An associate degree required.
Minimum Required Experience: Must be able to teach the fundamentals of business mathematics including analytical and critical thinking skills. Must be willing and able to teach at a Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility. Must pass a background check and complete mandated training before course start date.
Preferred Experience: Prior experience teaching in higher education or comparable experience in a corporate training environment is preferred.

- Ability to operate an IBM compatible computer and other standard office equipment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Demonstrated organization skills.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Working knowledge of the Hill College vision and mission.
- Ability to articulate and support the values and Code of Conduct of Hill College.
- Ability to interpret and abide by the policies and procedures of Hill College.
