Position Summary
There is an opening for a postdoctoral position available in the lab of Dr. Emily Josephs in the Department of Plant Biology at Michigan State University. The postdoc will work with Dr. Josephs to investigate the evolutionary forces shaping genotype-by-environment (GxE) interactions in maize and other plant species using large genomic and phenotypic datasets. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, writing up their work, and presenting the results. The candidate will also work in a team with other lab members and will mentor other students in the lab.

Doctorate degree required. Successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise in quantitative genetics, programming (in R, python, or other languages), statistics, and plant biology.
