Job Description

The Division of Applied Mathematics seeks applications for an LFZ Assistant Professorship, a three-year, non-tenured, and non-renewable appointment, with a start date of July 1, 2024. The teaching load for this position is one course per semester.

Candidates are required to have received a Ph.D. degree or equivalent by the start of this appointment and may have up to three years of prior academic and/or postdoctoral research experience. Applicants should have strong research potential and a commitment to teaching in a diverse and inclusive classroom, and their field of research should be consistent with the current research interests of the departmental faculty.

The Division of Applied Mathematics values diversity and inclusion as essential to achieving excellence. We especially encourage applications from those belonging to groups traditionally underrepresented in the mathematical sciences.
