Job Description

Family Recovery Center (FRC); a non-profit 501© 3, located in Lisbon, Ohio and with a site in Steubenville, Ohio; has worked to improve the quality of life for Ohioans for over 50 years. FRC holds national accreditation from CARF as well as the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. FRC provides a continuum of Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Aftercare, Medication Assisted Treatment, Education and Wellness Services and Behavioral Health Services for person experiencing the chronic illnesses of Substance Abuse Disorder and Mental Health. Individuals, Children and Family members have found hope through recovery at FRC.

The FRC Board of Directors is seeking applications for the position of, Chief Executive Officers (CEO). The CEO is responsible for leading FRC operations and overall direction, executive level program and staff management, developing and steering policy and refining priorities and developing a comprehensive design and strategy expressly relevant to the Behavioral Health System of Care. The right candidate will, identifying and pursue policy and financial opportunities aligned with the FRC Mission:is dedicated to providing affordable, holistic services. All services promote individual, family and community wellness by creating healthy lifestyle choices. FRC’s goal is “Making Recovery a Reality.”

Essential Job Functions

· Full time position, work demands are often outside the regular work day.

· Provides direct administrative oversite to all departments and management team members

· Work closely with FRC’s Board of Directors

· Directs, maintains and assists in financial health and integrity of agency

· Determines agency’s well-defined goals for continued well-being

· Develop comprehensive design for organization’s business strategy

· Maintains appropriate staff within all departments

· Provides leadership both within and beyond agency

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

· The Chief Executive Officer is a full-time position, offering a salary and benefits package; with a base salary range to be discussed and determined during the interview process; commensurate with skills, education and experience

· Master's Degree desired; bachelor's degree acceptable with appropriate experience

· At a minimum 4 years’ operational oversight experience in a senior leadership level, with at least 2 years’ experience working in an executive leadership level.

· Specific knowledge and awareness of areas and populations served by FRC

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

· Possess outstanding public relations skills; willingness to collaborate and work with; FRC Board members, staff, community partners, funders, state and local governing bodies and community business members, has excellent problem solving skills

· Demonstrates flexibility: Is open to change and new information; rapidly adapts to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles.

· Resilient, deals effectively with pressure and change; remains optimistic, positive and persistent, even under adversity. Recovers quickly from setbacks.

· Formulates objectives and priorities and implements plans consistent with the long-term interests of the organization. Capitalizes on opportunities and manages risks.

· Demonstrates an understanding of financial leadership and sustainability for FRC

· Build and manage the operations and infrastructure of FRC

· Awareness of various credentialing and or certifying organizations

· Ability to lead, promote, motivate and guide FRC towards meeting its mission, vision and goals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
