The Role  

The Bursar and University Secretary is responsible for a number of key administrative areas within the University including Finance, Governance, Information Technology, Estates, Human Resources, Mediation Services and Pensions as well as having key responsibility for many cross functional University change projects.

The Office of the Bursar is seeking to appoint an Administrative Officer to oversee the administration of a broad range of activities associated with a high volume and high profile office. Reporting directly to the Bursar, the successful candidate will act as Personal Assistant to the Bursar and Secretary. The candidate will also lead and manage the Department’s administration and be an essential part of the Finance Function team with particular support being provided to the Director of Finance and Heads of Financial Reporting and Financial Planning.

Administrative Officer Grade II (2023) Salary Scale: €42,143 – €60,335 p.a. (9 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.
