The combined labs of Dr. Reddy and Dr. Comai at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine seek an outstanding postdoctoral candidate/research associate to develop an innovative small molecule therapy for the neurological disorder, Myotonic Dystrophy. Expertise in RNA biology and phenotype analysis in transgenic animal is preferred. The annual base salary range for this position is $64,200 - $67,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidateâs work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
Minimum Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate within previous five yearsMinimum Experience: 0-1 yearMinimum Field of Expertise: Directly related education in research specialization with advanced knowledge of equipment, procedures and analysis methods.
