Position Summary | Post-Doctoral Fellow for NSF-Sponsored Grant on Preschool Numerical Cognition: Indiana University Cognition and Learning Lab The Cognition and Learning Lab at Indiana University-Bloomington (PI: Gunderson) invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow. This position is funded by a National Science Foundation grant, “Improving Flexible Attention to Numerical and Spatial Magnitudes in Young Children” (#2301008, https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2301008) to Dr. Gunderson. Applications are particularly welcome from researchers interested in numerical development and executive functioning in preschool-aged children. This is a collaborative grant across two universities, Indiana University and the University of Dayton. Therefore, the postdoctoral fellow will participate in regular project meetings with the PI at University of Dayton, Dr. Mary Wagner, and her team, and will work alongside the research team in Dr. Wagner’s lab to design and carry out the experiments. This position has a two-year commitment with the appointment to the second year contingent on at least minimally acceptable performance within the first year. There is also a possibility of extension for up to five years. The 12-month salary associated with this position is $56,484 in year 1 and $58,179 in year 2. Necessary qualifications include:
