Tenure Track Faculty Position in the SKI Cell Biology Program

The Cell Biology Program at the Sloan Kettering Institute (SKI; https://www.mskcc.org/research/ski/programs/cell-biology) in New York City has initiated a search for a tenure-track faculty member.  We are interested in outstanding individuals who have the potential to develop an innovative, independent research program that complements and enhances our existing strengths and who are committed to train the next generation of scientists.

Candidates with research interests in exciting areas of eukaryotic cell biology and using cutting-edge experimental approaches are encouraged to apply.

At SKI, you will work alongside 120 research laboratories housed in state-of-the-art buildings, have access to Core facilities offering state-of-the-art scientific services, pre- and post-doctoral trainees, and be offered appointments in the Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences.  

Applicants should have a PhD and/or MD degree, postdoctoral experience, and dedication to the field of cell biology. A strong track record of scientific achievement in Cell Biology, Microscopy, Biophysics, Biochemistry or a related discipline is required.

Salary range for these positions is $195,000 - $320,000. Starting pay for new hires typically falls within the range listed, based on candidate qualifications and experience, as well as other variables. This range represents annual salary only and does not include any one-time payments that eligible candidates may be offered at the time of hire.
