Job Description


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Ability to conduct historical, social, and ecological research (including archival research and social-ecological surveys).
• Understanding of seaweeds and mariculture resources and development.
• Familiarity with Alaska Native subsistence economies and cultures.
• Experience with field data acquisition and analysis and GIS mapping.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in statistical analyses.
Required Experience & Education:

Applicants must have (i) a PhD in an a relevant scientific field or a related field and (ii) a peer-reviewed publication record that is commensurate with experience.


Salary Information:

This is a full-time, term-funded, exempt post doctoral fellow position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . 

This position is term-funded and is reviewed annually for contract renewal at the University's discretion.
