Position Highlights

The Language and Neuroimaging Laboratory at the University of Arizona invites applications for post-doctoral position with interest in neurogenic language disorders, brain stimulation and neuroimaging.

The successful candidate will develop a vigorous research program that contributes to, and complements, ongoing research studies on neurorehabilitation and neurobiology of language. The candidate will have access to multiple large datasets, fMRI, EEG, TDCS and rTMS equipment as well as, state-of-the-art computational resources, including HPCs and GPUs.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Neurolinguistic assessment
  • Leading treatment of language disorders
  • Acquisition of neuroimaging data
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Data coding and entry
  • Preparation of manuscripts and conference presentations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work with individuals with language disorders
  • Ability to work alone and as a part of a group
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn new analytical tools and skills
Minimum Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a PhD in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences or related field, and research experience in cognitive neuroscience, neurocognitive measurement and interpretation, diagnosis of neurogenic language disorders, neuroimaging and noninvasive brain stimulation.
