A postdoctoral associate appointment is available in the Gilbertson Group at Duke University in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Seeking highly motivated engineer or scientist with a desire to mentor students, develop independent research projects, and collaborate on multiple research projects. Experience in material synthesis, characterization, and development for applications in environmental engineering aligns well with the research projects.

The initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility for extension. Salary will follow the NIH, NRSA FY 2023 postdoctoral trainee and fellows stipend levels based on the candidate’s experience. The starting date is flexible and ideally will begin in the Fall 2023.
