Postdoctoral Research Associate - Sustainable Energy and Resource Recover

Associate Professor Greeshma Gadikota Sustainable Energy and Resource Recovery group within the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University seeks one or more postdoctoral research associate(s) on projects related to carbon transformations, advanced separations and reaction chemistry for a sustainable climate, energy, and environmental future. Candidates with a demonstrated interest and expertise in developing novel functional materials, computational molecular scale simulations, electrochemistry, photochemistry, interfacial phenomena in multiphase environments are highly encouraged to submit your application materials.

Appointments are typically for 1 year and renewable up to 2-3 years contingent on performance and support. The candidate must have a PhD in chemical engineering, chemistry, physics, civil and environmental engineering, materials science and engineering, or related fields. Ideal candidates have a proven track record of publications in high impact journals. The candidate is expected to have a strong academic record, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range:

$56,484.00 - $81,000.00

Pay Ranges:

The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:

  • Prior relevant work or industry experience.

  • Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.

  • Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)

  • Unique applicable skills.
