Postdoctoral Research Scholar - Psychiatry

Job Description

Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an inspired, driven, and a curious Postdoctoral Research Scholar (remote or hybrid) whose research focuses on personality development and/or longitudinal data analysis (and related topics). As a Postdoctoral Research Scholar (remote or hybrid), you will be a core member of our growing research team: diving deep into the analysis of a decades long longitudinal dataset that includes neurobiological, clinical, personality and behavioral measures from preschool through late adolescence in a heterogeneous clinical sample (from multiple previous and newly renewed R01s). You will also contribute to observational coding of this archival data across development related to research and clinical questions of your choice. In this fully remote position, you will enjoy the flexibility of working on both a rich set of existing data and contributing to new data collection now that participants are young adults. The goal of the current R01 renewal is to examine the development of personality, in particular, interpersonal and self/identity functioning using multiple levels of analysis (e.g.,neurobiological, observational, clinical) in predicting specificity and overlap between borderline personality disorder and depression. Your overlapping or related questions on developmental trajectories predicting young adult psychiatric illness are welcome. You will have the ability to create your optimal work-life balance, while being a part of our highly collaborative and supportive research team.

Our Promise to You:

  • A fully remote role, offering flexibility to craft a work schedule that aligns with your lifestyle and personal commitments.
  • A competitive salary and benefits package that recognizes your significant contribution.
  • Ample opportunities for professional development and networking to further enhance your skills and broaden your career horizons.
  • An inclusive, stimulating work culture that values your unique perspective and champions your ideas.
  • The fulfillment of contributing to innovative research that could reshape our understanding of the development of personality pathology.
